Dr Le Page is one of Sydney’s leading consultant Surgeons specialising in Upper Gastrointestinal, Obesity, Laparoscopic (keyhole) and General Surgery. He prides himself on his surgical skills, communication skills and clinical judgement.
He reviews patients (referred by their GP or specialist) in one of his rooms based in Sydney’s North Shore, Inner West and Northern Beaches. He also provides a service through the emergency departments of the Sydney Adventist, Concord and Northern Beaches Hospital.
He undertakes surgery and procedures for patients at the some of Sydney’s leading hospitals including Sydney Adventist, Mater, Concord, Strathfield Private and Northern Beaches Hospitals. These may be day case procedures or require overnight stay in hospital.
Dr Le Page grew up and attended school in Sydney. He graduated with honours in M.B.B.S from Melbourne University in 2001. He trained in General Surgery at the Royal Melbourne and Austin Hospital’s and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2011, being awarded the J.P.Ryan prize for surgery. He then subspecialised in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery by undertaking the official ANZGOSA (Australian and New Zealand Gastro-oesophageal Surgical Association) training program at St.Vincent’s and Concord Hospital’s in Sydney. In 2013 he spent a year in Edinburgh in the UK under the sponsorship of ANZGOSA and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, further expanding his skills in cancer, obesity and hernia surgery.
In 2014 he worked with the Royal Flying Doctor Service as their surgeon servicing remote communities. In the same year he began work as a consultant surgeon at the Sydney Adventist, Mater, Concord, Strathfield Private Hospitals and the OClinic. He has professional contact links to other specialists and allied health staff (eg. dietitians) when their assistance is necessary. Since this time he has continued to treat increasing numbers of patients at these locations. He performs surgery, endoscopy and colonoscopy throughout the week. He reviews patients at one of his various consulting rooms - Concord Hospital Medical Centre, Sydney Adventist Hospital and the Northern Beaches Hospital.

Throughout his training, consultant career and now, he continues to attend national and international meetings to keep abreast of new developments. He undertakes research into the conditions he treats and publishes and presents this research in peer-reviewed journals and at international meetings. He also audits the outcomes of his operations, both through official national bodies such as ANZMOSS (Australian and New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgical Society) and personally.
