Dr Sam Guirguis attended Sydney University, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. After working in Sydney for a few years he went on to practice across the UK, New Zealand and country New South Wales.
Over the course of his career, Sam has owned his own practice, trained at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), taught undergraduate students at Sydney University, and achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Dr Sam joined Natural Dentistry in 2015 working with Dr Ross Mackay and has since then taken over as Lead Dentist running and managing the practice along with his dedicated team. He carries on the Natural Dentistry philosophy that he feels passionate about.
Sam is dedicated to helping his patients achieve excellent oral health that improves their overall wellbeing. He finds his role as a dentist particularly rewarding and enjoys assisting his patients in reaching their outcomes whether through optimal oral health or a cosmetic solution to something they have been challenged with.
In addition to his dental degree, Dr Sam has gone on to complete extensive further study in orthodontics, Invisalign and cosmetic full mouth rehabilitation – He has been recognised as one of only 4 clinical instructors for LVI in Australia, mentoring dentists to achieve a high level of care for their patients.
He finds great joy in interacting with patients and working in a fun environment alongside a wonderful team. He is dedicated to seeing you as a whole person and brings an integrative dental approach to your health.
Dr Sam's interests include comprehensive full mouth rehabilitation, jaw development orthodontics and early childhood interceptive orthodontics, and Invisalign. He has a special interest in the treatment for sleep-disordered breathing issues, snoring and sleep apnoea. He has a passion for smile makeovers whether through whitening, bonding, porcelain veneers or the use of Invisalign
